Welcome to the 6th Annual LDS Mid-Single Big Bear Bash!

Who Is Invited? LDS Mid-singles ages 25-45

When is the Retreat? March 17-19, 2017

What Is It? The Glendale 9th Mid-Singles Ward is delighted to host its 6th Annual Big Bear Mountain Retreat, or as we like to call it, G9's Big Bear Bash.

Come join us as we play in the mountains! For the outdoorsy types, come enjoy hiking with new friends, zip-lining across mountainside meadows, braving the heights of the rock wall of Dooooom or testing your balance and bravado on the extremely high ropes course. And for those of you who like to stay in and cuddle or play games by the fire, we have that too. Learn a new skill, make a new friend, and maybe, just maybe, meet that great guy or girl! (Don't laugh, it's happened.) This year we'll have all the fun activities you've come to expect at Big Bear, plus a few exciting new options.

Basic Schedule Includes:

Check In: Friday Afternoon 4:00pm

Friday Evening: Service Project, Restaurant Dining Groups, Scavenger Hunts, Pub Trivia

Saturday Morning: Frolicking in the Mountains, Hiking, Frisbee Golf, Games, Ping Pong Tournaments, Human Foosball

Saturday Afternoon: High Ropes Course, Zip-Lining, BB Gun Range, Archery, Climbing Wall, Paintball (for a small additional cost)

Saturday Evening: Dance and Ice Cream Social

Sunday Church: Come to learn and be spiritually edified together. Special guest speaker TBA!

Pricing Schedule:

Early Bird Special: (Now through Jan 15, 2017) $190 per person

Winter Price: (Jan 16, 2017 - Mar 12, 2017): $205 per person

Procrastinators* (March 13, 2017 - March 17, 2017): $230 per person

*We are keeping our numbers at an intimate level. We only have 45 spots for men and 45 spots for women. We will sell out. Don't be left behind!

What Is Included In The Cost? Two nights of accommodations in the comfy hotel-style lodges, all three meals on Saturday, breakfast and lunch on Sunday, and most camp activities (paint ball not included but available for a small additional fee).

What Skiing Options Are Available? The resorts are usually open in March. You are welcome to head up to Big Bear before the retreat to hit the slopes. If you go, you will be responsible for your own lift ticket and meals on Friday.

Refund Policy:

There are NO refunds. However, if an emergency happens you will be allowed to sell your spot to someone of the SAME sex who may take your place. Advanced Notification is required.
